"It is impossible for me to imagine my breastfeeding experience - or my first months with my baby at all - without Bianca. She is endlessly knowledgeable, responsive, patient, generous, and compassionate. Her calming and comforting presence was critical for caring for my own physical and mental health challenges that popped up while breastfeeding; making sure he was on track with his growth; finding unique natural nursing positions that improved my comfort and fatigue; advising on the nitty-gritty math and schedules of how to pump and use bottles when he transitioned to daycare and I returned to full-time work; and even introducing his first solids. Working with Bianca provided me a special level of support from the "fourth trimester" to beyond - while I am lucky to have wonderful OBGYNs and pediatricians, they are generally not available or equipped to provide that level of specialized expertise that comes from both breastfeeding-specific training and from the vulnerability of shared experiences. Nursing continues to be a special and valuable experience for me and the baby at 7 months, and I'll be forever grateful to Bianca for making that happen."
